FLOTILLA AND CHILI COOK-OFF
Chili Cook-Off Guidelines:
Calling all chili chefs! Each participant is asked to prepare 10 quarts of chili for the event. There are no restrictions on your recipe — your chili can include meat, beans, or neither. Let your creativity shine and bring your chili spirit on—anything goes! We can accommodate 12 chili cook-off participants.
Table Decorations:
We encourage you to decorate your table to showcase your chili style! Each 6-foot table will be shared by two participants, so feel free to decorate your half or collaborate to make the entire table stand out.
Supplies:
Please bring your own utensils, including a ladle or other serving tool that can spoon chili into 3-ounce tasting cups (cups provided).
Chili Warming:
A single-burner propane camp stove will be available at the event to keep your chili warm during the tasting.
Judging and Awards:
Best Chili: This is a people’s choice award! Each guest who buys chili will cast one vote. The chili with the most votes wins.
Best Decorated Table: Bring your flair! The award will go to the table with the most creative and eye-catching decorations.
Both awards come with the ultimate prize: bragging rights!
