The views from the iconic Ram Head Trail of the USVI and BVI are spectacular!  Make your way to Salt Pond on the South Shore from Coral Bay as this is where to park for the Ram Head Trail.  About a ¼ mile walk down to the sandy Salt Pond Beach, walk to your left past Salt Pond and then cross over the next loosely pebbled beach until you see the trail at the end of the beach heading up up and away toward Ram Head.  Lots of cacti along the way, and if you’re lucky enough they may be in bloom.  Once you reach the top, it’s like you are sitting on the edge of Earth admiring its full beauty and potential to the fullest.  The rocky outcroppings to be experienced from the top are unlike anywhere else on island with lots of birds flying around over the water.   You’ll definitely be shoving these memories in your pocket to take home with you, along with a few photos we have no doubt.  The view is absolutely stunning.  This trail is out in the full sun, so make sure you bring plenty of water as the sun can be very hot and wear closed toed shoes, you’ll be happy you did.  The perfect time of day for this hike is first thing in the morning.  You won’t be the only ones there as this hike is one of the most popular on island.  When you return make a stop at Drunk Bay to see the Coral Art or make your own.  This is tradition for many Visitors.  Salt Pond Beach will be waiting to cool you off if you so desire.  Bring your snorkel gear, drop it off at the beach before the hike so it is waiting for you when you get back.  Lots of underwater sea life to explore.
