Don’t want to do homework on vacation? Try PADI e-learning! Register with PADI and complete your five academic modules online through PADI’s multi-media e-learning classroom – all you need is an internet connection. Once you have completed the academics online you will need to bring a copy of your e-learning completion certificate with you to show your instructor that you have completed this module.
You will need to complete a brief quiz upon arrival to confirm your understanding of the academic material. A PADI Logbook will be given to you on the first day of your reservation.
Anyone under 18 will need a parental co-signature on all release forms. Please note that quoted prices do not include PADI’s registration fee of approximately $190. All dive instruction and gear are included in the price.
PADI OPEN WATER REFERRAL DIVES ONLY — $475
You will go on two half days of diving that are approximately 4 hours each (all diving and academics need to be completed within one year from start to finish).

Over the course of two afternoons, students will go on four Open Water certification dives to complete their training. For students who complete their pool skill sessions and academics at home but prefer to finish their certification in a slightly warmer climate.
Students must email bring their referral paperwork from their original instructor with them, as well as their Logbook. All gear, instruction, and processing fees are included in the price.
Although the temperature is typically very nice year-round, sometimes in the colder months, the wind is a bit chilly after a dive. For diving, shorty wetsuits are provided upon request. If you are planning on bringing your own, the water temperature in the winter usually gets down to 78 degrees.
Water Temperature Ranges:
January – April 78-81 degrees (Wetsuits Recommended)
May – December 81-85 degrees
Fresh ice water is provided for all dive trips. Snacks are not offered, but you are welcome to bring your own. Dive sites are 15-20 minutes away and there isn’t a log surface interval for most dives because they are typically 40′-60′ on average so a long surface interval is not usually necessary.
When you book your dives, you will be sent a link to the waivers. When you fill out the waiver, you will be required to take a photo of your card and enter your information as it appears on your card.
If you can’t find your card, please call or email ahead of time so we can help locate your information. In most cases, given some time, the Crew can look your card up, but it is best if you have a digital copy of your card to eliminate any difficulties.
