What a Beach! Cinnamon Bay Beach is a stretch of serene captivating beauty known for its world famous camping experience. Everyone loves Cinnamon as it is a great beach to get the whole gang together, play some beach volleyball, make some sand castles, have a picnic, hang out with a cold drink in your hand in the water, and just enjoy the day away in the Caribbean.
Boasting the largest parking area of any beach on island, it still fills up rather quickly in the morning due to the fact that the quality of amenities offered make Cinnamon a very popular beach to spend the day. There is also accessible parking. A Food Truck is available for lunch with a simple menu, including beer and beverages. If you are serious about Beach Volleyball, this is the place. Anything that a Guest could need with regard to beach comfort and watersports can be rented along the main pathway to the beach. Please remember, there is no lifeguard on duty.
Most days a Food Truck near the beach has snacks, drinks and ice cream when available. The Rain Tree Cafe is located in the main building beside the front desk and the general store. The Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. They also have a coffee and smoothie bar.
The Cinnamon Bay Trail Loop is just across the road if you are looking to explore some ruins and enjoy a 1/2 mile loop. The signs along the trail discuss the local plants and animals in the tropical forest. There are also exhibits to explain Saint John’s land use history and the Cinnamon Bay Factory Ruins which give access to the Loop Trail. Watch your footing as the path can be wet and slippery after rain.
